Description:
Revi is a beautiful five-year-old French Bulldog. She enjoys cuddles and going on (short) adventures. She's been camping and paddle boarding and enjoys being active. Before she came into our lives, she was used for breeding, and when we first brought her home at age three, she was timid, aggressive and unsure. With time, patience, and love, she has become accustomed to functioning in a healthy environment.
She really enjoys stuffy toys and balls and is also good with being around other dogs. She is protective and needs to warm up with other dogs. However, she does appreciate their companionship and is comfortable being around them once she has had time. She is not good with cats at all. While she is not fully house-trained, we have been working on it and believe that with consistency, she will continue to improve. However, she goes on a pee-pad with 99% accuracy.
When we first got her, she suffered from seizures, but with daily medication (Zonisamide, morning and night), they are now fully controlled. Maintaining this routine is absolutely essential for her life.
Revi has been used to a home with a backyard and a doggie door, but due to a recent move to an apartment and a busier schedule, we can no longer provide the environment she truly needs to thrive. She deserves a home where she has space, time, and love. Somewhere she can continue to feel safe and cared for.
Revi is affectionate and a playful companion who needs patience and love and for her well-being to be taken seriously.
