Hello! We are looking to re-home our dog Ruby. She has a lot of energy, and we can’t keep up with her, or do her justice in our family with two small kids.

Ruby is 4.5 years old and spayed. Her mother was a border collie, and her dad was potentially a wirehaired pointer. Ruby behaves very well around children and adults who come to our house. She can be difficult around other dogs though, especially smaller dogs. Ruby is a hunting/herding breed and has hunted several rats and squirrels in our backyard. She would do best in a home without other animals and with someone who has had dogs before and knows how to properly exercise and handle hunting/herding breeds. Ruby is a very smart dog. She knows all the basic commands and can follow a skier, runner, or mountain biker.
